Hi Ate Ria! :D where is the best place to get a custom cake?
I don’t know anything about custom cakes. I just know that I like to eat them. Haha.

I don’t know anything about custom cakes. I just know that I like to eat them. Haha.
I feel embarrassed that most of the things I post on my Tumblr are of sadness.
COKE LIGHT OR COKE ZERO? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA by gelabo
NEITHER. HAHA. XD But to answer, regular coke for me, best if chilled and in a can. <3 I’m cutting down on my softdrinks though. Haha. I need to drink more water.
Do you think that when the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles turn 20, they’d simply drop the word “Teenage” from their title?
Hm. It wouldn’t be the same if they became just the ‘Mutant Ninja Turtles’. But then that might open new possibilities. A darker version maybe. Haha! I think that’d be interesting. It’d be like watching a show I grew up watching, grow up as well.
Old post. After Gel and I shared some of our dreams a few days ago, I started remembering my long, winded dreams again.
I’m home on a Saturday evening, after going to the gym and attending the birthday party of a 6 year old neighbor. I feel I should be somewhere else, with someone, but I’m not. I suppose I’ve no right to expect anything. Or do I? It’s confusing.
I feel I’ve been ‘put in my place.’
Who is your BESPREN?
You are of course. HI MAKU.
When did you last feel like an absolute genius and why?
I think the last time I felt like an absolute genius was when I drove to Greenhills while my car was coded. I avoided getting caught while driving my car by taking all these back roads that I was unfamiliar with, and I managed to get there in one piece. I felt pretty awesome then, but I swore never to do it again. :))
Have you seen a miracle came true?
I just watched Ishmael Bernal’s Himala (starring Nora Aunor) for our Philosophy class (which is interesting and made a lot of sense for me; it’s a good film, you should watch it), so I’ll answer your question with the famous line from the film:
“Walang Himala! Ang himala ay nasa puso ng tao… ang himala ay nasa puso nating lahat.”
or
“There is no miracle! The miracle is in the heart of a person…the miracle is in all our hearts!”
So yes, I’ve seen a miracle. I see miracles every day. (Cheese, I know.)
“It’s no excuse to be young.”
Very nice read. :)
take the leaf of a tree
trace its exact shape
the outside edges
and inner lines
memorize the way it is fastened to the twig
(and how the twig arches from the branch)
how it springs forth in April
how it is panoplied in July
by late August
crumple it in your hand
so that you smell its end-of-summer sadness
chew its woody stem
listen to its autumn rattle
watch it as it atomizes in the November air
then in winter
when there is no leaf left
invent one

Do I really want this?
What’re the last 3 books you’ve read, and why did you read them?
Right now, I’m reading The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold. I heard about the book before the movie trailer started showing, and I always meant to look into it, though I only really did when the trailer did come out. There’s no exact reason for my reading it, just the fact that it caught my interest. The last book I read and finished was JD Salinger’s The Catcher in the Rye. I bought the book when I was in high school, and I just finished it last month. (How terrible.) I read it mostly because of that (how long it’s been with me without me reading it), plus the fact that it’s one of those classics that a lot of people have either already read or often talk about. The third book I read on and off is a poetry book on birds. :p Because I like birds. And poetry. Haha. :p
What celebrity would play you in a movie about your life?
Oh wow. I barely know any celebrities. I honestly have no idea, I’m sorry. :))

Ang hirap ng question ni Chase! :))
Oh, hey Ria, it might interest you to know that I’ve been writing. Well, at the moment, it’s pretty skeletal, and I’ve let my orgmates check it out so they can tell me if it’s stupid or not. Hahah.
Sorry if I asked the same question twice. XD Also, I’ll look up that author you mentioned. I still have a lot of books to read, but one can never have too many, I believe. I was thinking of asking about your writing progress, but since you update your Tumblr so often I figured you MUST be writing more now. :p I hope it’s going well. :D Do share when you finish something.
GO READ IT. GO READ IT NOW.
Is Ironman sexier than Batman?

I’m bad at hailing cabs. Of the few times I’ve had to hail one, they zip right past me, or someone else gets to the cab before I do. And it’s not a surprise, seeing as I hate taking cabs. I don’t really know why. I’ve never specifically had any bad experiences with taking cabs or hailing cabs but despite that I will, as much as possible, avoid taking a taxi. I suppose it’s because when you’re in someone else’s car, you’re very vulnerable. Especially when you sit in the backseat, and you’re not really sure of where you’re going. Whoever is driving can take you anywhere, in a good and a bad sense. And aside from that, you’re in a closed, more or less private space in proximity of someone you don’t know. (As I’m reading over this, I realize I sound like I have a lot of issues. Perhaps I do.) At least in a jeep or FX you’re with other people, but that in turn also has its own dangers. I’d rather not.
Sigh. Public Transportation: Only fun if it’s a MRT/LRT P-P-P-Party.
